On a very cold wet night I was proud of the girls for stepping up and beating Lakewood 5-1. Ember Bortz had 5 saves and just missed a third shut out. Emily lane had an amazing goal from a run out of her defensive fb position putting a laser past the goalie. Maya Walters added another laser from the top of the 18 on a volley. Katie Crandall added a third goal all from defenders! Allison Biergeder scored 2 including a nice PK finish. Abby Schwartz led the attack with strong passing and pressure with 4 shots and 1 assist while being marked most of the game. Allison Beirgeder also added two assists and Katelyn Lamb added an assist as well. Reece Lessig added enormous pressure from the forward spot. We play Lumen next on Wednesday at Lumen.
