The girls showed grit and toughness tonight fighting through multiple player injuries, sickness, and lack of players. Captains Allison Beirgeder, Abby Schwartz, Emily Lane, and Ellie Noffsinger wouldn’t let the team quit and kept pushing them to work harder. Abby Schwartz led the offense with a handful of dangerous shots on goal, but couldn’t find the back of the net. Ember Bortz had 9 saves and Maya Walters had 4. The girls played a strong defensive game even with giving up 6 goals. Sorry my original post was incorrect the score was 6-0 not 7-0.
