The girls fought hard and I was proud of them for struggling thru all the injuries we are dealing with right now, and keeping this a 1-0 score at half. Maya Walters in her first appearance as a starting goalie had 15 saves and played well. Athlete of the month and Captain Allison Biergeder struggled through leg injury to lead the defense along with Captains Ellie Noffsinger and Emily Lane.
