Fall Sports Registration

Fall Athletic Registration

All Pennfield High School fall sports teams will begin official tryouts and practices on Monday, August 9th. The fall sports programs at the high school level includes football (V/JV/Fr), volleyball (V/JV/Fr), boys’ soccer (V/JV), girls’ cross country, boys’ cross country, boys’ tennis, sideline cheer (V/JV) and equestrian.

Official start times and locations for all fall sports teams will be finalized and announced in early August.

All high school participants will need to complete the fall registration process prior to any participation.  The fall registration period for high school student-athletes will be held on Thursday, August 5th in the athletic office from 12:30-3:30pm and Friday, August 6th from 8:30am-3:30pm.

All fall sports participants will need to complete and turn in the following forms to the athletic office prior to any participation in practices or tryouts on August 9th.

  • A MHSAA athletic physical exam form on file with the Athletic Office with an exam date of April 15, 2021 or later with all required signatures:

  • Athletic Training Rules & Statement of Understanding form signed by both the student-athlete and parent/guardian:
 
  • Completed Concussion Awareness form signed by both the student-athlete and parent/guardian:

 

  • The Pennfield Athletic Participation Release form signed by a parent/guardian:

All of these forms can be picked up in the Athletic Office or downloaded from above.

Parents do not have to be present during the registration process as long as all forms are completed and signed in advance.

Upon turning in these forms and having an academic eligibility check completed, each individual student-athlete will receive a fall registration card from the athletic office to turn into their respective coach at the first practice or tryout on Monday, August 9th.   The Pennfield Schools and the MHSAA academic requirements must be met for all fall sports participants to be eligible for participation.  The final second semester grades from the 2020-21 academic year are used to determine academic eligibility for the fall season.

Fall sports practices begin the week of August 9th.  ALL prospective fall sport candidates MUST complete the athletic registration prior to any participation in Pennfield High School fall sports.
